A Guide To General Female Health
A series of novels and stories of the early 18th and 19th centuries often described women as mad and irrational beings, thus upholding the creation of mad women literature. However, modern medicine dispels this “mad” attribute. By establishing that women’s hormones are more sensitive and susceptible to change than men, more attention is given to women’s health. Menstruation, menopause, PMS, and perimenopause - are all an integral part of general health issues related to women. Apart from that similarity to be part of women’s health, these phenomena are due to one thing: hormonal changes. Hormones are fickle, they change with the slightest change in diet or physical activity. Sometimes, even emotional disturbances are sufficient to make the women’s hormones go crazy.
